Dear colleagues,

I write to provide you with a brief update on the progress of the search for our next provost.

My thanks to everyone who participated in the on-campus and virtual listening sessions hosted during September with our search partner, Russell Reynolds Associates. I am grateful for the many faculty, staff, and students who took the time to share their perspectives. Your thoughtful input and feedback will help guide the search committee’s work moving forward.

For those who have not yet engaged directly, Russell Reynolds will host two final virtual listening sessions for faculty and staff on Oct. 14 and 15 at 4 p.m. Links to each opportunity are available on the Provost Search website.

If you were unable to participate in a listening session or have additional thoughts to share, please consider completing this anonymous survey about your priorities for the next provost. The survey can be completed within 10 minutes, and responses are submitted directly to Russell Reynolds. Please submit your response by Friday, Oct. 25.

Thank you for your continued engagement in this important process.

Sincerely,

Peter
