Julia Jackson-Newsom has been named Senior Advisor for Planning and Partnerships in the Office of the President. Jackson-Newsom comes to Wake Forest from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where she has served as the associate chancellor for strategy and policy in the chancellor’s office for the past six years. She will begin at Wake Forest Sept. 13. “Julia brings extensive strategic planning experience and has proven her exceptional skills in analyzing data, setting metrics and leading important initiatives,” said Wake Forest President Susan R. Wente.
